Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager (GM) to lead our textile manufacturing operations. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing production, operations, compliance, and strategic growth. The GM will ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability across all departments while aligning operations with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Operations Management

Oversee the complete manufacturing process, from raw material sourcing to final dispatch.

Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality production of textiles and garments.

Develop, review, and enforce factory policies and operational procedures.

Ensure compliance with local labor laws, safety standards, and international regulations.

Maintain strong quality assurance systems to meet client and export requirements.

2. Team Leadership & Human Resources

Lead and mentor department heads (Production, Quality, HR, Finance, Supply Chain).

Build a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.

Align factory operations with corporate strategy and market demands.

3. Strategic & Innovation Leadership

Drive innovation in textile processes (e.g., dyeing, finishing, sustainable practices).

Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost optimization.

4. Financial Oversight

Manage budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.

Monitor KPIs such as production efficiency, defect rates, and delivery timelines.

Provide regular reports to senior management/board on performance and growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).

8–15 years of experience in textile manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.

Strong knowledge of textile production processes and compliance standards.

Proven leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
