Generator Operator- Avari Xpress Gulberg Lahore

Avari Xpress Gulberg Lahore is looking to Hire Generator Operator.

Responsibilities: include but not limited to:

• Hands on, maintenance, installation, service and repair to a varied range of diesel driven generating sets, diesel generator control systems and associated equipment including turbochargers and fuel injection equipment.
• Control generator output to match the phase, frequency, and voltage of electricity supplied to panels.
• Make adjustments or minor repairs, such as tightening leaking gland and pipe joints; report any needs for major repairs.
• Open and close valves and switches in sequence upon signals from other workers, in order to start or shut down auxiliary units
• Place standby emergency electrical generators on line in emergencies and monitor the temperature, output, and lubrication of the system, take reading and maintain log sheet.
• Comminuted to electrical supervisor, Start or stop generators, auxiliary pumping equipment, and other power plant equipment, and connect or disconnect equipment from circuits
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment in order to prevent equipment failure or deterioration.
• Communicate with systems operators to regulate and coordinate transmission loads and frequencies, and line voltages.
• Record and compile operational data, completing and maintaining forms, logs, and reports
• Responding to emergency calls and performing repairs on equipment
• Inspecting and evaluating the safety parameters & reports to supervisor for advice,
• Must be member of Hotel's fire brigade team
• To have clear understanding of the Hotel's Staff Hand Book and regulations contained therein
• To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulous at all time.
• To observe cleanliness at the place of work & on the job after completion of work.
• To ensure cleanliness of appearance & uniform.
• Will Performs any other duties assigned by the management.
• Ensure all identified problems and causes for concern are reported to Department Manager immediately and recorded.
• Ensure that all actions are considerate and compliant with the quality standards, health and safety standards and Company standards.

Qualification and Requirments:

Education:

• Matric and Diploma

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar capacity
• 3 years of total relevant experience

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Hospitality
• Construction
• FMCG
• Manufacturing

• Strong technical capacity and problem-solving skills

Language Requirements:

• Proficient in Urdu
• Able to understand English

Working Conditions:

• May occasionally work in outdoor environments
• Exposure to wet/humid conditions, risk of electric shock, and fumes
• May work near moving mechanical parts
• Moderate to low noise environment
