Job Summary
- The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (mandatory).
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Good command of English (both written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
