Job Purpose

Our Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand team is responsible for conveying the essence of Emirates Group. Our team is pivotal in representing the attitudes, beliefs, and goals of our organization across the globe, both internally and with customers alike!

The Global Brand & Content Manager will be responsible for creating and executing brand and product content to support and enhance the Emirates brand promise globally. Working within the Global Brand & Content team to support the product and service life cycle from development and implementation of on-board and on-ground products to development and implementation of the content strategy. Lead the development of brand assets to be used globally within the Global Brand & Content team, as well as locally by local market teams.

In This Role, You Will
  • Manage the creation and deployment of global brand assets with support from the Manager Global Brand & Content, from briefing agencies and internal content teams, to helping on-set and post-production.
  • Responsible for the development of on-ground and in-flight products, in response to briefs from the Manager Marketing Communications (MMC) Products & Services. Develop the specifications and design concepts and work with agencies and external parties to identify the suitability of materials, design and costing. Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, product standards and quality requirements. Receive and assess samples and working models, and ensure sign off by the MMC and Manager Global Brand & Content before going into production.
  • Manage the product development process by utilizing insights from internal and external sources in order to inform the development of onboard products, taking customers journeys, experiences and touchpoints into consideration. Consider operational constraints, industry trends and design principles such as packaging, visual design, usability etc.
  • Plan, develop and implement global communications plans, working collaboratively with specialists within the department to showcase Emirates products and services as well as developing relevant content and identifying opportunities to amplify product and services communications.
  • Manage and execute products and service creation and communications plans within approved budget and timelines. Track and adjust expenditure across these as necessary, flagging and escalating issues to Manager Global Brand & Content and Manager Marketing Communications.
  • Develop toolkits and brand guidelines for customer facing areas of the business, in order to help them understand the product positioning, key message, and brand application. Serve as the key contact for queries (internal or external) on the brand assets.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years experience in Brand & Content management.
  • Degree or Honours in a Marketing or related discipline (12+3 or equivalent)
  • Experience in Marketing management in a multinational company handling sponsorships and events.
  • Ability to critique creative ideas and give constructive feedback, suggesting improved creative solutions in line with brand guidelines and objectives of the business.
  • Knowledge of how to produce creative content in the most cost effective way without compromising on quality.
  • Understanding of the roles of third party suppliers and what they bring to the table.
  • Ability to extend creative ideas across various channels (social, digital banners, microsites, print etc.) and a solid understanding of technicalities involved with each medium as well as the production know-how to scale up in a cost-efficient way.
