Government Relations Specialist

Job Summary

The Government Relations Specialist is responsible for managing all governmental procedures and regulatory requirements related to employees and company operations. The role ensures full compliance with local labor laws, immigration regulations, and government authorities’ policies while maintaining effective relationships with relevant governmental entities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Government & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws, immigration regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor updates in government regulations and communicate changes internally.
  • Maintain accurate records of all governmental transactions.

2. Employee Government Services

  • Process work permits, visas, Iqama issuance and renewals.
  • Handle employee transfers, sponsorship changes, and contract documentation.
  • Coordinate exit/re-entry visas and final exit procedures.

3. Government Platforms & Systems

  • Manage company accounts on government portals such as:
  • Qiwa
  • Muqeem
  • Absher Business
  • GOSI
  • Mudad
  • Ensure accurate data entry and system updates.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare official letters and documentation required by government authorities.
  • Maintain tracking logs for visa renewals, permits, and regulatory deadlines.
  • Generate reports related to Saudization, compliance, and employee status.

5. Liaison & Coordination

  • Act as the company representative with government authorities.
  • Coordinate with HR, Payroll, Legal, and Finance teams for government-related matters.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Government Relations (preferably in KSA).
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi labor law and government portals.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
