Job Summary:
Experienced Grant Manager with a strong background in managing full-cycle grant processes, from proposal development to compliance and reporting. Skilled at building funding strategies, overseeing large portfolios, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and evaluate funding opportunities from government, foundation, and private sources.
- Lead the preparation and submission of competitive grant applications, proposals, and budgets.
- Manage a portfolio of active grants, ensuring compliance with funder guidelines, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and monitor grant budgets, track expenditures, and coordinate with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting.
- Maintain relationships with donors, program officers, and key stakeholders to strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Oversee grant reporting, including progress updates, financial reports, and final closeout documentation.
- Train and support program staff in grant compliance, reporting requirements, and donor relations.
- Implement efficient systems for tracking deadlines, submissions, and renewals to maximize funding opportunities.
- Analyze funding trends and recommend strategic approaches to diversify and expand funding streams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 6 years of progressive experience in grant management, grant writing, and donor relations.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and foundation funding regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven success in securing and managing multimillion-dollar grants.
- Excellent financial management skills, including budget development and expenditure tracking.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with keen attention to detail.
