Group HR Generalist

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will preferably be an Arabic-speaking male with experience in human resources within the retail industry. The role will support HR operations across multiple retail outlets while ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.

1. HR Operations

  • Support day-to-day HR activities across retail stores and head office.
  • Ensure implementation of company HR policies and procedures across all locations.

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage recruitment for retail positions such as sales associates, supervisors, and store managers.
  • Coordinate onboarding, documentation, induction, and visa processing for new employees.

3. Employee Relations & Welfare

  • Act as a liaison between staff and management.
  • Address employee grievances and support disciplinary procedures while ensuring legal compliance.

4. Payroll & HR Systems

  • Coordinate payroll submissions from each entity to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain employee records, data updates and reporting.

5. Administration & PRO Coordination

  • Oversee visa processing, Emirates ID renewals, labor card applications, and other government-related services in coordination with the PRO.
  • Ensure timely renewal of trade licenses, tenancy contracts, and other administrative documents.

6. Performance & Training

  • Monitor performance appraisal cycles and assist in identifying training needs, particularly in hospitality operations.
  • Coordinate training programs for both back-of-house and front-line staff.

7. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws, MOL requirements, and immigration rules.
  • Prepare HR and admin reports for management (e.g., headcount, visa status, leave balances).
  • Assist in standardizing HR policies, procedures, and documentation across hotels and group entities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Good knowledge of UAE labor law, visa processing, and HR administration.
  • Experience handling retail staff recruitment and employee relations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple HR tasks and support multiple retail locations.
  • Arabic-speaking candidate preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
