Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and directing the installation, testing, and maintenance of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) pipelines on site. Key duties include:

• Supervision: Leading and supervising a team of pipe fitters and laborers to ensure all GRP pipeline installation work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required specifications and standards.
• Planning & Execution: Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, planning the daily work schedule, and ensuring all materials and equipment are available at the worksite.
• Quality Control: Inspecting the work to ensure the quality of jointing, alignment, and installation complies with project requirements and industry best practices.
• Safety: Strictly enforcing all site safety regulations and procedures, conducting toolbox talks, and ensuring all team members use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Coordination: Liaising with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
• Reporting: Maintaining accurate daily progress reports, material usage records, and manpower attendance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor specifically in the installation of GRP/FRP pipelines is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of various GRP pipe jointing methods (e.g., butt and wrap, mechanical joints, flange connections).
• Ability to read, understand, and execute work based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality assurance.
• Must be ready to join immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED3,500.00 per month
