Gypsum Carpenter

We are looking for a skilled Gypsum Carpenter to work on construction and interior fit-out projects, specializing in the installation and finishing of gypsum boards (drywall). The ideal candidate will have experience in cutting, installing, and finishing gypsum board systems for ceilings, walls, and partitions, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards (drywall) according to design specifications.
• Frame and construct partitions, bulkheads, ceilings, and wall systems using metal or wooden studs.
• Install suspended ceilings and ceiling grids.
• Apply finishing materials such as joint compound, tape, and sanding to create a smooth surface.
• Ensure all installations are level, plumb, and aligned according to drawings or site requirements.
• Repair damaged drywall or ceiling systems as needed.
• Interpret blueprints, layouts, and sketches to determine material requirements and procedures.
• Work closely with foremen, engineers, and other construction professionals on site.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
