We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Head of AI to lead our artificial intelligence and data science initiatives. This is a senior leadership role for an individual with a strong track record of designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions at scale. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to shape our AI roadmap, deliver high-impact solutions, and drive innovation across the organization.

As the Head of AI, you will be responsible for defining and executing the AI strategy, building and mentoring a high-performing data science team, and ensuring AI-driven solutions deliver measurable business outcomes. You will work closely with executive leadership to identify opportunities for AI adoption, oversee model development and fine-tuning, and implement best practices for AI and data science across the organization.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning models across business functions.
• Define the AI strategy and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals and industry trends.
• Build, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and AI researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Oversee end-to-end AI projects, including data acquisition, model development, fine-tuning, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Drive the adoption of AI and data-driven decision-making across business units by translating complex AI concepts into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and new AI-powered products or services.
• Ensure AI models meet high standards of accuracy, reliability, and ethical use, and adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science, and evaluate their applicability to the organization.
• Drive innovation through research and experimentation with novel AI techniques, tools, and technologies.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 11-20 years of hands-on experience in data science, AI, and machine learning, including designing, implementing, and fine-tuning models for complex real-world applications.
• Proven experience leading AI teams and delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions.
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and AI fine-tuning techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable impact.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with an ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (M.Tech, M.S., or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with AI productization, model deployment at scale, and MLOps practices.
• Track record of publishing research or contributing to AI communities is a plus
