Role Overview:
The Head of Commercial will lead Swvl’s commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, profitability, and long-term client partnerships. This role oversees sales, account management, and commercial operations, ensuring alignment with Swvl’s strategic and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute commercial and revenue growth strategy
  • Own revenue targets, margins, and overall commercial performance
  • Lead Sales, Account Management, and Business Development teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise, government, and strategic clients
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives
  • Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Product, and Supply teams to ensure successful service delivery
  • Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity
  • Establish scalable commercial processes, KPIs, and performance tracking frameworks
  • Present commercial performance, forecasts, and strategic plans to the Managing Director

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8–12+ years in commercial, sales, or revenue leadership roles
  • Proven track record of driving B2B revenue growth and managing enterprise or government accounts
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to build and scale high-performing teams
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in mobility, transportation, logistics, or SaaS is a strong advantage
  • Strong understanding of the Egyptian market

Pay: Up to E£120,000.00 per month
