Head of Guest Experience

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head of Guest Experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as well as the ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest bookings and manage reservations using hotel management software.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the front desk area.
  • Assist with phone calls, providing information and taking reservations while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services and satisfaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software is an advantage.
