About The Role
The Head of Human Resources will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and the Human Resources Committee of the Board. This role will be responsible for leading the HR function to support the company's long-term strategic direction, drive organisation development, and enable a high-performance culture aligned with company values and growth ambitions. The position will also ensure robust systems for talent development, succession planning, and operational HR excellence.
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership

Support the CEO and HR Committee in long-term HR planning (57 years horizon)

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business through HR initiatives

Set and monitor human resource objectives aligned with business goals

Prioritise HR investments and link HR outcomes to business results
Organisational Development & Culture

Lead the design and implementation of performance development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning frameworks

Drive initiatives to enhance leadership effectiveness and foster a constructive work culture

Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies
-
Ensure functional leaders align with HR frameworks in people management.
HR Planning & Talent Development

Establish talent management, career progression, and potential assessment systems

Develop and execute formal succession plans for key positions
-
Monitor and strengthen the organizations talent pipeline across all levels.
Change Management & Organisation Design

Advise leadership on culture, structure, roles, and capability requirements

Lead change management and organisation design efforts using formal methodologies
-
Operate and manage job evaluation systems
Recruitment & Workforce Planning

Define recruitment strategy, objectives, and talent sourcing approaches

Develop effective selection and assessment processes

Analyse the external talent market and improve recruitment operations
Learning & Capability Building

Build and execute a business-aligned learning and development strategy

Design and deliver impactful learning programs and foster a learning culture
Performance Management

Develop and manage the Performance Development Process (PDP)

Identify key performance indicators and design relevant processes

Facilitate performance coaching and employee engagement initiatives
Compensation & Benefits

Analyse market trends and design competitive compensation systems.

Implement reward structures that attract, retain, and motivate high performers.
Requirements

A university degree from a recognised institution, ideally in HR, Business, or related fields
-
Practical understanding of management accountability levels and human dynamics in organisational contexts

15+ years of professional experience in an industrial company (preferably FMCG)
-
At least 10 years of focused HR experience, with proven exposure to other business functions being a plus

Strong business acumen with an understanding of P&L and balance sheets
-
Ability to influence and challenge senior leaders constructively
-
Proven ability to align HR strategies with short-term and long-term business outcomes
