Job Summary: Creative Chaos is actively seeking Head of Product for a leadership role combining product strategy, technical execution, and client engagement. This is not a purely technical role. You’ll be equally focused on business and stakeholder success(understanding client needs, driving implementations, enabling revenue) and internal product leadership (shaping roadmaps, managing engineering alignment).
Job Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Execution

Lead the full lifecycle of product development for:
- Mass Transit Tap-and-Pay systems (contactless, NFC, QR, card acquiring)
- Telco Credit Top-Up / Airtime Distribution systems (multi-operator, agent-based, real-time)
- Digital Wallet and Payment Integration (API orchestration, reconciliation, compliance)
- Define and evolve product vision, roadmap, and KPIs.
- Translate market and client needs into clear technical specifications and execution plans.
- Work closely with engineering and design to ship robust, scalable, user-friendly products.
Client Engagement & Business Alignment

Act as product partner to key clients — telcos, banks, transit authorities.
- Lead the requirements gathering, solutioning, and implementation oversight with enterprise clients.
- Serve as Engagement Manager: from onboarding through live operations.
- Collaborate with sales to design client proposals and commercial packages.
- Ensure product development aligns tightly with revenue, retention, and market expansion goals.
Technical Depth

Own the product-technical interface — work closely with engineering leads on architecture trade-offs, scalability, API orchestration, and backend/platform roadmap.
- Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and QA cycles for mission-critical components.
- Understand protocols across telco APIs, payment rails (EMV, ISO8583), SIM/USSD channels, and digital identity layers.
Requirements

Strong technical background (CS degree or equivalent experience); able to engage in architectural and integration-level discussions.
- 8+ years in product, delivery, or solutions roles with a proven track record of client-facing leadership.
- At least 3 years in fintech, payments, or telco-focused companies.
- Experience in wallets, airtime/VAS systems, top-up distribution, and/or transit payment infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex client engagements — including discovery, product design, delivery, and support.
- Strong commercial acumen — understands product P&L, pricing, GTM, and monetization mechanics.
- Experience building or integrating:
- Digital Wallets
- Offline-first payment solutions
- Contactless NFC or EMV-based systems
- Prior leadership experience at a high-growth startup or in emerging markets
