We are seeking an experienced Head of Project Management Office in our Information Systems department to manage IT Transformation, strategic projects and optimize project management processes. In this role, you will ensure the successful implementation of technology projects and establish corporate project management standards.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields (Master’s degree is preferred),
  • Advanced English is a must (written and oral),
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the information technology organizations in banking sector,
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience,
  • Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience,
  • Experience in IT governance and compliance processes,
  • Certification in at least one of PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master
  • IT Governance certifications (CGEIT, CISA, etc.) is preferred
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps,
  • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001,
  • Basic knowledge of SOX, Basel III, BRSA regulations,
  • Basic level knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools,
  • Understanding of the fundamental principles and implementation strategies of the TOGAF methodology,

Job Description:

  • Define the strategic direction of the Project Management Office and also IT Governance align it with corporate objectives,
  • Execute portfolio management for information systems projects and coordinate with senior management & other departments,
  • Manage the PMO and IT Governance team, support their development, evaluate their performance, and coach project managers and support their professional development,
  • Assess the impact of project-related changes on stakeholders, and develop, standardize and report project management methodologies and processes,
  • Selection, implementation, and management of project management tools and technologies,
  • Manage risk management and quality assurance processes,
  • Provide PMO perspective in digital transformation projects,
  • Integrate Agile, Scrum, and other modern project management approaches,
  • Plan and manage organizational change processes, develop communication strategies to minimize change resistance, and coordinate user adaptation and training processes
  • Include regulatory requirements and compliance processes in project planning, coordinate with IT audit processes and ensure documentation standards, and ensure implementation of IT risk management and security requirements in project processes
  • Ensure the implementation of information systems process maturity analyses (COBIT, CMMI, etc.)
