Head of Sales

What we do:

AST is a software services company operating between Pakistan and UAE. We sell two things to US clients:

1. Integrated Engineering Pods — embedded dev teams (not your typical staff aug). Think full squads with engineers, QA, scrum masters who plug directly into a client's org and operate like their own team.

2. Healthcare Software Services — we've been deep in US healthcare for 8+ years. We build and maintain clinical software products (AI documentation tools, EMR integrations, patient assessment platforms). This isn't generalist dev work - it's niche, regulated

What we need:

Someone who can own the entire US sales pipeline from Karachi. You'll be selling to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and healthcare tech leaders at mid-market and enterprise companies in the US.

You'd be responsible for:

● Building and closing a US sales pipeline (outbound-heavy, LinkedIn, warm intros, partnerships)

● Running discovery calls, demos, and proposals across US time zones

● Positioning AST Pods as a premium alternative to traditional outsourcing

● Developing relationships in the US healthcare tech ecosystem

● Working directly with the CXO on pricing, deal structure, and go-to-market strategy

● Eventually building out a small sales team under you (including SDRs)

You're a fit if:

● You've sold B2B software services or staff augmentation to US clients before — ideally

from Pakistan/offshore

● You understand the US buyer mindset and can hold your own with a CTO or VP Eng on

a call

● Healthcare IT exposure is a strong plus but not a dealbreaker

● You're comfortable working US hours from Karachi

● You're a closer, not just a relationship manager — we need revenue, not pipeline reports

● You don't need a massive brand behind you to open doors
