Role Description

As the Sales Head at Kahani , you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the sales function, and expanding the company’s market presence . This role requires a strategic leader who can design scalable sales systems, build high-value client relationships, and ensure seamless coordination between sales and project execution teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.

You will work closely with founders, project heads, and marketing teams to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships and sustainable business growth.


Key Responsibilities


1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with Kahani’s growth vision and business goals.
  • Drive revenue expansion , pipeline growth, and market penetration.
  • Define sales targets, forecasting models, and conversion benchmarks.
  • Optimize lead management and sales processes for efficiency and scalability.


2. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Identify new business opportunities across weddings, events, corporate, and experiential segments.
  • Build strategic partnerships with venues, hospitality brands, planners, and allied vendors.
  • Strengthen Kahani’s positioning in the premium events and wedding market.


3. Client Relationship & Deal Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value clients.
  • Lead pricing strategy, negotiations, and contract closures .
  • Act as the key point of escalation for critical client discussions.
  • Ensure a smooth handover from sales to project teams for flawless execution.


4. Team Leadership & Sales Enablement

  • Lead, mentor, and scale the sales team with a performance-driven mindset.
  • Set clear KPIs, incentives, and accountability structures.
  • Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to enhance sales skills and industry knowledge.
  • Foster a collaborative culture between sales, creative, and project teams.


5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Project Heads to align sales commitments with execution capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to improve lead quality, brand visibility, and conversion rates.
  • Ensure client expectations are strategically aligned across all teams.


6. Market Intelligence & Performance Analytics

  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and client preferences.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine pricing, proposals, and conversion strategies.
  • Track sales performance, pipeline health, and ROI metrics.
  • Prepare sales reports and strategic insights for leadership review.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or revenue growth roles .
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with strong execution ability.
  • Experience in the events, weddings, hospitality, or luxury services industry is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-value, client-driven environments.
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years in sales
