Job Objective
The Head of Sales – Solar Division will be a senior leadership role responsible for owning the entire sales function, driving large-scale business growth, and leading high-value Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar projects across kilowatt and megawatt capacities. This role requires a dynamic, results-oriented sales leader with strong technical understanding, business acumen, and the ability to inspire and drive teams toward aggressive growth targets.
The incumbent will play a critical role in shaping company-wide sales strategies, leading complex negotiations, strengthening brand presence, and working directly with the Directors on strategic decision-making, market expansion, and long-term revenue growth.
Key Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire solar sales organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth plans.
- Develop and execute long-term and short-term sales strategies focused on C&I solar solutions, including megawatt-scale projects.
- Take complete ownership of company-wide sales targets, forecasting, pipeline development, and revenue delivery.
- Drive high-value sales pitching, negotiations, and deal closures with corporate, industrial, and commercial clients.
- Work closely with Directors to define pricing strategies, market entry plans, partnerships, and expansion initiatives.
- Identify and capitalize on market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive positioning within the C&I solar segment.
- Lead branding, promotions, and go-to-market strategies in coordination with marketing to strengthen market visibility and credibility.
- Mentor, coach, and develop Sales Managers and senior sales staff to build a strong leadership pipeline and performance-driven culture.
- Ensure robust sales governance, including CRM discipline, reporting accuracy, and performance tracking across teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including EPC partners, consultants, investors, and large industrial clients.
- Oversee proposal strategy, techno-commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations for large-scale projects.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, project execution, finance, and operations to ensure seamless project handover and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, ensuring accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement across the sales function.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) – Strong Advantage
Experience
- 7–10+ years of progressive sales experience in the solar / renewable energy sector
- Minimum 3–4 years of direct experience in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar projects, including megawatt-scale systems
- Proven track record of leading large sales teams and closing high-value industrial and commercial deals
- Experience with EPC, corporate, and industrial clients is essential
- Residential solar experience alone will not be considered sufficient

Pay: Rs280,000.00 - Rs400,000.00 per month
