We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems across various properties. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose system issues.
- Conduct routine inspections of property mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as condensate drainage or refrigerant line repairs.
- Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs or replacements.
- Repair appliances related to HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference.
- Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely when transporting equipment or parts to job sites.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure all mechanical systems operate at peak performance levels.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously when working with ammonia refrigeration or other hazardous materials.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans.
- Experience working as a service technician in construction or property maintenance environments.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration units used in commercial settings.
- Familiarity with plumbing techniques related to HVAC applications.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices.
- Skilled in welding and equipment repair to address various mechanical issues effectively.
- Field service experience managing multiple client sites with a focus on appliance repair and preventative maintenance.
- Understanding of HVAC/R standards, safety regulations, and environmental controls.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex system failures quickly.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between sites.
