Heavy Equipment Inspector

Job Overview

We are hiring a Heavy Equipment Inspector for our project site in Hafar Al-Batin, Saudi Arabia. The inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all heavy machinery and lifting equipment meet operational and safety standards in compliance with Saudi regulations and client (e.g., ARAMCO / SEGC) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, and verification of cranes, forklifts, loaders, manlifts, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
• Ensure all equipment meets ARAMCO / SABIC / SEC standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct visual, functional, and load tests as per inspection protocols.
• Prepare detailed inspection and non-conformance reports.
• Verify validity of third-party certificates, load charts, and calibration documents.
• Coordinate with site engineers, HSE personnel, and operators for periodic inspections.
• Recommend necessary repairs, replacements, or preventive maintenance actions.
• Maintain updated equipment registers and inspection logs.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in inspection of heavy and lifting equipment within KSA or GCC.
• Certification in Lifting Equipment Inspection / Third-Party Inspection (e.g., TUV, LEEA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong understanding of rigging, load testing, and equipment safety standards.
• Familiar with Saudi safety codes and ARAMCO inspection standards.
• Good English communication and report-writing skills.
• Must be available for immediate mobilization to Hafar Al-Batin.
