Post: Hospital Administrator
Organization: Jiban Suraksha Nursing Home
Location: Bodra, Ghatakpukur, West Bengal
Overall Purpose of the Role
The Hospital Administrator is responsible for the overall management, coordination, compliance, and smooth functioning of Jiban Suraksha Nursing Home. The role ensures efficient patient services, regulatory compliance, staff discipline, financial coordination, and liaison between hospital management and Head Office.
Key Responsibilities1. Administrative & Operational Management
- Oversee daily hospital operations including OPD, IPD, ICU, OT, pharmacy, diagnostics, housekeeping, and security.
- Ensure smooth patient admission, discharge, and referral processes.
- Implement hospital policies, SOPs, and standard administrative procedures.
- Supervise departmental heads and ensure coordination among all units.
2. Human Resource Management
- Manage duty rosters, attendance, leave, and shift schedules for all staff.
- Ensure staff discipline, dress code, and professional conduct.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance monitoring of staff.
- Address staff grievances and report serious matters to the Hospital Head Team.
3. Financial & Records Coordination
- Coordinate with Accounts Department regarding billing, collections, expenses, and vendor payments.
- Monitor hospital inventory including medicines, consumables, and equipment.
- Ensure proper maintenance of registers, files, licenses, and statutory records.
- Prevent revenue leakage and ensure transparent billing practices.
4. Regulatory & Legal Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare laws, clinical establishment norms, and local authority regulations.
- Maintain and renew statutory licenses such as CE License, Fire Safety, Biomedical Waste authorization, Trade License, etc.
- Coordinate with government departments, inspectors, and auditors when required.
5. Patient Relations & Quality Control
- Handle patient and attendant queries, feedback, and grievances professionally.
- Ensure quality patient care, safety standards, and cleanliness across the hospital.
- Monitor infection control practices and hospital hygiene standards.
6. Coordination with Management & Head Office
- Report all major hospital issues first to the Hospital Head Team.
- Escalate matters to Head Office (Mag X Medi Clinic India Private Limited) only when required and as per protocol.
- Submit regular operational, compliance, and performance reports to management.
7. Emergency & Crisis Management
- Take charge during medical, administrative, or operational emergencies.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, ambulance services, police, and local authorities when needed.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in hospital or nursing home administration preferred
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Knowledge of hospital operations and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, hospital software preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations
Reporting Structure
- Reports to: Hospital Head / Management / Head Office (as per protocol)
Working Conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹12,452.92 - ₹55,290.23 per month
