Hostess Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and handling cashier responsibilities efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences. Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize the flow of the restaurant
• Handle guest inquiries courteously via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Process guest payments accurately at the cashier station, ensuring smooth transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
• Assist with guest needs throughout their visit, including providing menu information and addressing concerns promptly
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure efficient service delivery and guest satisfaction
• Uphold high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and guest service at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in restaurant operations, guest services, or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude are essential
