Host/Hostess

As a host or hostess your main job will be greeting our guests, and in doing so create a warm and welcoming environment. Being the first person to great our guests is an important role. Knowledge in Open Table, Toast or Word is appreciated.

We are looking for the following:

Excellent communication skills- (both in person and over the phone)

Strong organizational skills, being able to manage taking and modifying reservations.

Excellent customer service skills with an ability to monitor a bar and several dining room spaces.

You will have the following responsibilities:

Managing menus, making sure they are up to date and pre-setting them before each shift. Changing them in the display out front when necessary.

Keeping the lobby and front desks clean, along with cleaning windows when necessary.

Paying attention to special events and celebrations noted in reservation, and alert servers of any special notes.

Answering all phone calls and checking voicemails as they are left.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $19.00 per hour

Physical Setting:

• Fine dining restaurant
• Upscale casual restaurant
