Hotel Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable, efficient, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a hotel with exterior corridor rooms. This position requires the ability to manage time effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards within 20–25 minutes per room
• Maintain cleanliness in up to 25 rooms per day during peak season (average 15–20 rooms)
• Restock supplies and report maintenance issues as needed
• Navigate exterior corridors and multiple staircases (no elevators)
• Work independently and manage time efficiently without sacrificing quality
• Communicate effectively with management and team when necessary
• Adhere to hotel safety and hygiene standards

Requirements:

• Must be physically able to climb stairs and be on feet for extended periods
• Proven ability to clean efficiently and meet daily room quotas
• Attention to detail without compromising speed and efficiency
• Ability to work autonomously and stay on schedule
• Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude
• Prior housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus

Additional Information:

• Basic room setup with minimal amenities (not a luxury property)
• 30-day probationary period to assess performance, time management, and cleanliness standards

Continued employment contingent on meeting expectations consistently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.16 per hour
