Hotel Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, uniforms, and other items in a hotel or similar environment. A strong commitment to quality service and cleanliness is crucial for success in this position.

Duties

• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment to launder items according to established procedures.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and other items as required.
• Ensure that all items are cleaned thoroughly and presented in an orderly manner.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, adhering to specific care instructions for delicate fabrics.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring that all equipment is kept in good working condition.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
• Adhere to safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel or similar setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
