Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment with precision and care.
• Sort linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing to ensure proper handling based on fabric type and cleaning requirements.
• Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or special items requiring specialized treatment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing workstations, equipment, and storage spaces.
• Track laundry inventory levels and communicate needs for supplies or repairs promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in delivering clean linens and garments to designated hotel departments or guest rooms as needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads of linens or laundry baskets.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with hotel staff. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week
