Duties

• Operate industrial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold hotel linens, towels, and uniforms efficiently.
• Sort laundry items by type and color to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper cleaning procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing equipment and workspaces.
• Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage; report any issues for repair or replacement.
• Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low.

Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens meet cleanliness standards before distribution.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy laundry loads as needed.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations.
