Hotel Maintenance

We are looking for an experienced hotel Maintenance people to join our team and keep our building inside and out looking fresh, maintained, and functioning to perfection. We expect you to have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. This job is both inside and outside building upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Guest room work orders
• Minor repairs and maintenance throughout the public areas
• Preventive maintenance of the mechanical systems
• Maintain the curb appeal of the property
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, minor plumbing / minor electrical
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (HVAC / kitchen / water / electrical)
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarms / smoke and CO detectors)
• Maintain the pool and spa area
• Report to a facilities or maintenance manager and General Manager for issues

Skills

• Experienced with hand and electrical tools
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• High school diploma or equivalent
• State Pool Testing Certification (if you don’t have it – we will pay for the training)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.50 per hour
