Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing various maintenance tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of maintenance procedures. The Maintenance Person will work closely with other team members to maintain equipment, perform repairs, and ensure a safe working environment.

Duties

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including troubleshooting logic controllers and using an ohmmeter.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Fabricate parts as needed and perform welding tasks for repairs or modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Execute residential painting tasks to keep facilities looking their best.
• Collaborate with team members to develop preventive maintenance schedules and improve operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication within the team.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in supervising maintenance staff or projects is preferred.
• Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is a plus.
• Previous experience in residential painting is desirable but not mandatory.
• A solid understanding of fabrication techniques and welding processes is advantageous.
• Must possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
