Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure top cleanliness standards
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common areas by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting
• Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
• Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, and supplies to ensure guest needs are met promptly
• Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to management for prompt resolution
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold high standards of hygiene

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners effectively
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and housekeeping management practices is a plus
