  • Supervise, train, and support room attendants and housekeeping staff on assigned floors.
  • Assign daily tasks, cleaning schedules, and work areas.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and report disciplinary or performance issues to management.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and assist with scheduling.
  • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, linen closets, and public areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and adherence to brand/quality standards.
  • Verify that rooms are cleaned, stocked, and ready for guest occupancy.
  • Document and report discrepancies, damages, or maintenance requests.
  • nsure housekeeping procedures and safety protocols are followed (cleaning methods, chemical handling, equipment use).
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities; request replenishments as necessary.
  • Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to prioritize room readiness and resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure lost-and-found procedures are correctly followed.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services.
  • Provide professional, friendly, and efficient service to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare daily reports on room status, staff assignments, and completed work.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Participate in training programs and meetings.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality certification is a plus).
  • 1–2 years of housekeeping experience; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights throughout the shift.
