The Role

As a Housing Manager , you will oversee the management and operation of all team member housing within the resort. You will ensure that housing facilities are well-maintained, comfortable, and provide a positive living experience for all team members. This role involves leading a team of housing coordinators and attendants, coordinating housing assignments, and ensuring that the housing facilities are fully compliant with resort standards and health and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for managing budgets, addressing team member concerns, and ensuring the overall efficiency of housing operations.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As a Housing Manager, you will need to:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of team member housing, ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and meet the needs of all team members.
  • Lead and supervise a team of Housing Coordinators and Housing Attendants, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth running of housing operations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor housing policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort.
  • Manage the allocation of team member housing, coordinating with other departments to ensure housing assignments meet operational and personal needs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of housing facilities to ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and resort standards.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance team to address any housing maintenance issues and ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Manage the housing budget, tracking expenses and making recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of housing assignments, occupancy levels, and inventory of housing supplies.
  • Address team member concerns and complaints related to housing, providing timely solutions and ensuring a positive living experience.
  • Communicate with team members regarding housing policies, procedures, and any changes or updates to housing arrangements.
  • Prepare reports for senior management regarding housing operations, including occupancy rates, maintenance needs, and operational challenges.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting teamwork and open communication between the housing team and other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements regarding housing and team member well-being.
  • Perform any other duties as required to support the effective operation of team member housing services.
