HR Administrator

Overview

The BOLD Team is composed of exceptional personalities from the cannabis industry seeking a progressive workplace that is committed to growing the highest quality locally gown cannabis products in Arkansas while ensuring compliance with state law. We are seeking an experienced HR administrator who has the knowledge and ability to perform a myriad of HR administrative tasks.

We are seeking a HIGHLY detail-oriented HR Administrator for a variety of HR functions from managing employee queries, upkeep of employee files, payroll record administration, recruiting and onboarding support, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, among other HR typical duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Available as the first point of contact for employees, answering questions about attendance, paid leave, payroll, and company culture
  • Oversee the record keeping practices for the company payroll, including reviewing employee's payroll account, verifying hours worked, eligibility for PTO use and pay rates, and ensure deductions are correct.
  • Ensures a smooth transition into the organization for new hires, conducting orientation sessions, explaining company policies and procedures, and helping employees become familiar with their roles and responsibilities.
  • Awareness of labor laws and compliance, which govern the relationship between an employee and an employer, in order to protect both employees and the organization.
  • Organizes and execute HR policies, such as filing employee records or analyzing employee data.
  • Supports processing of annual workman’s comp audits, OSHA form 300, ERISA 5500 processing and EEO-1 reporting.
  • Supports processing of Workman's comp claims, FMLA, ADA and LOA requests
  • Coordinates monthly supplemental benefit enrollment process between insurance representatives and employees
  • Answer unemployment claims, Office of Child support enforcement notices and garnishment notices.
  • Support HR duties for other businesses when needed requiring travel outside of North Little Rock, AR.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HSD/GED
  • Must be able to work some weekends and some holidays
  • Proven and comfortable over communicator
  • Problem solving skills; willingness and flexibility to foresee and overcome obstacles
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to manage programs efficiently and drive strategic HR initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and OSHA regulations
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP certification
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with UKG

Pay: $21.65 - $28.85 per hour
