HR & Administration Manager

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR & Administration Manager to lead the people and workplace functions at Himalaya International. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR operations, employee relations, compliance, recruitment, and day-to-day administrative functions that ensure smooth office and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies
  • Manage attendance, leave, and discipline records across departments
  • Design and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Supervise administrative activities including vendor management, facility upkeep, and procurement
  • Liaise with management to align HR strategy with business objectives
  • Maintain a professional and motivating work environment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR and Administration (manufacturing or service industry preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and payroll
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Hands-on, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities
