Role Overview

The HR Trainee will support the Human Resources Department in daily HR operations, recruitment, staff coordination, and organizational management. This traineeship is ideal for individuals who wish to build practical HR skills in a professional media, research, and educational environment.

You will work on recruitment tasks, onboarding, employee records, HR documentation, staff communication, and performance management activities under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting job descriptions, internship roles, and posting vacancies.
  • Help screen applications, shortlist candidates, and schedule interviews.
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new interns or staff.
  • Maintain employee data, attendance sheets, and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate with different departments for task management and communication.
  • Help conduct weekly reporting, performance tracking, and HR follow-ups.
  • Prepare HR forms, notices, and email templates.
  • Assist in organizing workshops, meetings, and staff events.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper record-keeping.

Skills Required (Beginner-Friendly)

  • Basic understanding of HR tasks and office management.
  • Familiarity with tools such as:
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms) — required
  • MS Office — plus point
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to write clear emails and maintain professional behavior.
  • Willingness to learn HR processes and follow instructions.

Eligibility

Students or fresh graduates in:

  • Human Resources
  • Business Administration
  • Management
  • Social Sciences
  • IT / Media students with HR interest

Freelancers or self-taught HR learners are also encouraged.
No professional experience required — just discipline and willingness to grow.
