HR and Recruitment Coordinator - MALE

The HR & Recruitment Coordinator supports end-to-end recruitment and HR operations for construction projects, ensuring timely mobilization of manpower (white & blue collar), compliance with documentation requirements, and smooth coordination with internal stakeholders, PRO team, and manpower agencies.

Key ResponsibilitiesA) Recruitment & Mobilization

  • Coordinate full recruitment cycle for construction roles (MEP, Civil, QA/QC, HSE, Engineers, Foremen, Technicians, Labour).
  • Screen CVs, shortlist candidates, schedule interviews, and coordinate interview panels.
  • Follow up with selected candidates on offer acceptance, joining dates, and mobilization readiness.
  • Coordinate with agencies and/or direct sourcing channels to meet manpower targets.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers (pipeline, shortlist, offer status, mobilization, replacements).

B) HR Operations & Site Support

  • Support onboarding processes: joining formalities, medical, orientation, site induction coordination.
  • Maintain employee files and ensure all documents are complete (IDs, certificates, clearances, contracts).
  • Assist in attendance coordination, leave tracking, and manpower reporting (if required).
  • Respond to employee queries related to onboarding, basic HR policies, and documentation.

C) Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure candidate documentation is accurate and complete (passport, visa status, education certificates, trade certificates, etc.).
  • Coordinate with PRO team for visa processing status, labor approvals, and mobilization updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company and project requirements (HSE induction, client site access requirements, etc.).

D) Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with project team, site management, and department heads on manpower needs and priorities.
  • Coordinate with logistics/accommodation teams for arrivals and site deployment (as applicable).
  • Prepare weekly recruitment and mobilization reports for management.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Knowledge of construction roles and manpower structures (MEP/Civil/HSE/QAQC).
  • Good communication skills (English mandatory; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is a plus).
  • Strong organization and data handling skills (Excel, trackers, reporting).
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and urgent mobilizations.
  • Confidentiality and professionalism in handling employee records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years experience in HR coordination and recruitment within construction / contracting / FM.
  • Experience coordinating visas, mobilization, and manpower agencies is a strong advantage.

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in GCC / UAE labor processes and working with PRO teams.
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, job portals) and ATS (if applicable).
  • Experience supporting large-scale mobilization or project ramp-up.

KPIs / Performance Measures

  • Time-to-fill and time-to-mobilize for priority roles.
  • Interview-to-offer and offer-to-join ratios.
  • Accuracy and completeness of documentation files.
  • Weekly reporting and stakeholder satisfaction.

Working Conditions

  • Site/office-based role with possible extended hours during peak mobilization.
  • Coordination with multiple departments, agencies, and PRO team.
