HR Assistant Trainee

Job Title: HR Trainee Assistant (Hybrid)

Location: Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Pakistan (Hybrid: 2 Days On-Site / 4 Days Remote)
Job Type: 6-Month Trainee Contract (Transitioning to Regular Employee based on performance)

Compensation: Month 1 Unpaid Training → Months 2 to 6 Paid at PKR 41,000 / month

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, tech-savvy candidate for the position of HR Trainee Assistant. This hybrid role offers maximum flexibility, requiring only two days of physical office attendance per week, with the remaining three days spent working productively from home.To ensure mutual fit and provide a comprehensive introduction to our systems, the position begins with a 1-month unpaid initial training phase. Because this first month focuses entirely on baseline software orientation, it is structured to minimize your commuting expenses. Upon successful completion of this initial month, you will transition into the paid 5-month trainee track with ongoing hybrid flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

Month 1: Initial Training Phase (Unpaid / Flexible-Remote)

  • Virtual Orientation: Complete internal training modules covering core company policies, HR compliance, and basic operational protocols.
  • Basic Sourcing: Learn to filter incoming resumes on regional career networks and Indeed Pakistan.
  • Data Integration: Assist with updating and auditing basic employee profile fields in our internal HR databases and spreadsheets.

Months 2–6: Core Operational Support (Paid / 2 Days Office Split)

  • Recruitment Coordination: Take ownership of scheduling phone screenings, setting up virtual panel interviews, and issuing applicant updates.
  • Onboarding & Paperwork: Coordinate with new hires to collect necessary documentation, verify credentials, and manage onboarding checklists.
  • Time & Attendance Tracking: Monitor monthly digital attendance logs, leave balances, and overtime reports to directly support the payroll department.
  • Employee Liaison: Serve as a regular point of contact for basic internal inquiries, routing complex policy queries to senior HR management.

Work Structure & Schedule

  • Hybrid Split: 2 days physical attendance at our regional office / 3 days working from home.
  • Month 1 Cost Mitigation: During the unpaid first month, on-site requirements will be limited to 1 day per week to drastically reduce your initial travel costs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BBA, MBA, BS) in HR, Business Administration, or Psychology.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable using MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and cloud collaboration tools like Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
  • Workspace: Must have a reliable internet connection and a personal laptop for remote workdays.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written communication and a strong sense of discretion when managing private employee data.

Pay: Rs37,000.00 - Rs41,000.00 per month
