1. JOB SUMMARY / JOB SCOPE:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a critical role in driving effective HR Operations and Employee Relations across multiple Business Units (BUs). This role acts as the primary HR focal point for employees and managers, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes, adherence to Qatar Labor Law, and alignment with company policies and culture. The HRBP will partner closely with BU leadership to support workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and HR compliance. The scope includes overseeing onboarding, HR documentation, grievance handling, investigations, disciplinary processes, HR reporting, and the implementation of HR initiatives that enhance overall employee experience and organizational performance.

2. MAJOR FUNCTIONS PERFORMED / PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Oversee daily HR operations across all assigned BUs, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Manage the full onboarding cycle, including documentation, immigration processes, background checks, orientation, and benefits setup.
  • Maintain updated employee records and ensure accuracy in HRIS and filing systems.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, leave management, benefits administration, and end-of-service settlements.
  • Ensure adherence to Qatar Labor Law and company HR policies across all BUs.

Employee Relations

  • Act as the primary contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
  • Guide managers in handling performance issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct internal investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Support employee engagement programs, satisfaction surveys, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Analyze employee trends and propose retention and engagement improvements.

Strategic HR Partnership

· Collaborate with BU managers to understand business needs and workforce priorities.

· Support the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies and processes.

· Assist in training programs, capability development, and performance management activities.

· Provide HR insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.

· CIPD, SHRM, or related professional certification preferred.

· 4–6 years of HR experience, including minimum 2 years as HRBP in a group holding or multi-BU environment in Qatar.

· Strong understanding of Qatar Labor Law, HR operations, and employee relations.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

· Ability to multitask and manage diverse HR requirements across several business units.
