HR Employee Services Lead

Karachi, Pakistan

The HR Employee Services Lead will be responsible for managing employee-facing HR processes, ensuring timely resolution of staff requests, and supporting organizational compliance and efficiency. This role oversees the HR Helpdesk, service facilitation, verification and control processes, and grievance and disciplinary support, as well as special HR assignments and projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, process orientation, and the ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Helpdesk

  • Manage daily complaints, queries, and staff requests through the HR Helpdesk.
  • Generate and track ticket numbers, ensuring timely closure upon task completion.
  • Submit progress reports on ticket resolution and follow up with concerned functions.
  • Utilize the HR Information System to access and process employee requests.

2. HR Services Facilitation

  • Connect with requesters to fully understand the nature of their requests.
  • Route non-HR-related requests to appropriate functions and facilitate follow-through.
  • Track progress against agreed timelines, escalating delays or disputes to relevant authorities.
  • Provide HR-related forms, templates, and documents as required.
  • Deliver hands-on training to new staff on HR processes, documents, and forms.

3. Verification and Control

  • Support staff benefits administration, including insurance enrollment at onboarding and family status changes.
  • Verify employee claim forms (e.g., travel expenses) for accuracy and completeness before Finance submission.
  • Assist in employee full-and-final settlements, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Support verification of documents during the hiring process.
  • Apply financial acumen to verify HR-related expenses and employee payouts.

4. Support in Grievance Management & Disciplinary Matters

  • Gather information and evidence in response to grievance complaints.
  • Provide support in cases referred to the Disciplinary Committee.
  • Ensure proper documentation is available when cases proceed to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

5. Special Assignments & Projects

  • Provide support in the execution and completion of HR special assignments.
  • Assist with project coordination and collaboration with project teams.
  • Contribute to project documentation and facilitate communication with stakeholders.

Candidate Qualifications & Experience

  • BBA / ACCA / BS Public Administration with strong financial acumen to support verification and validation of employee-related expenses and reports.
  • Background in Public Administration, Human Resources or a related field will be beneficial.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR services, employee support, or related functions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee services, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with U.S.-based teams and stakeholders across time zones.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Job Timings: 6pm to 3am PKST

Job Type: Full-time
