What is an HR Executive?

As an HR Executive at Abacus, you will manage end-to-end recruitment—from managing requisitions to posting job advertisements, sourcing candidates, coordinating onboarding, and maintaining employee records. This role is ideal for a resourceful and detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in recruitment operations, including bulk hiring, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure timely fulfillment of staffing needs and accurate execution of HR processes.

What does an HR Executive do?

· Manage and coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, CV screening, and interview scheduling/coordination.

· Maintain a talent pipeline to ensure timely fulfillment of current and future recruitment needs.

· Prepare and maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and documentation for new hires to ensure compliance and data integrity.

· Conduct onboarding and orientation sessions, ensuring a smooth and engaging induction experience for new employees.

· Maintain and update employee databases and HR systems regularly.

· Support the payroll process by providing accurate and timely employee data for salary preparation.

· Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.

· Adherence to local labor laws and internal HR policies.

What are we looking for, and what does it take to be an HR Executive?

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 2–3 years’ experience in a recruitment role, with exposure to bulk hiring preferred.

· Solid understanding of HR recruitment and local labor laws.

· Experience in sourcing and hiring candidates through job boards, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and other recruitment platforms.

· Proficient in MS Office; experience with HR software is a plus.

· Strong organizational and administrative skills with great attention to detail.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· High level of professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.

· A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and follow through on responsibilities.

· Collaborative and approachable, with strong interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across teams.
