Job Description – Field HR Executive

Location: Chennai (Multiple Units / Extensive Field Travel)
Position: Field HR Executive
Experience: Minimum 1 year
Gender: Male candidates preferred (due to heavy field movement)
Qualification: MBA in HR – Mandatory
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Handle hiring for unit-level roles across hotels, hospitals, ODC, and catering operations.
- Conduct screening, schedule interviews, and coordinate walk-ins.
- Manage joining formalities, documentation, induction, and ID card processing.
2. Attendance & HR Operations
- Monitor daily manpower deployment across all assigned units.
- Ensure accurate attendance management (biometric/manual/contract staff sheets).
- Submit monthly payroll inputs including attendance, OT, weekly off, deductions, etc.
- Maintain HR MIS: headcount, new joiners, absconding, attrition.
3. Statutory Compliance
- Verify contractor compliance – PF, ESI, PT, LWF, CLRA documentation.
- Conduct unit visits to check statutory registers and contractor adherence.
- Support HR audits by maintaining updated mandatory documents.
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Conduct regular site visits to address employee issues and maintain healthy ER.
- Assist employees with grievances related to shifts, hostel, food, OT, salary, etc.
- Support HR engagement and welfare initiatives across units.
5. Discipline & Performance
- Monitor discipline issues — absenteeism, misconduct, behavioural concerns.
- Draft memos/warning letters and maintain disciplinary records.
- Assist in unit-level performance evaluation documentation.
6. Training & Development
- Coordinate functional & behavioural training sessions at units.
- Track training attendance and maintain skill enhancement records.
7. Coordination & Reporting
- Act as the HR liaison between units/ODC locations and corporate HR.
- Prepare weekly/monthly HR reports, statutory trackers, and compliance dashboards.
- Ensure implementation of HR policies across all sites.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and field coordination skills
- Good knowledge of HR operations and statutory compliance
- MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot basics preferred)
- Ability to handle manpower-intensive environments
- Problem-solving capability and proactive approach
Qualifications
- MBA in Human Resources – Mandatory
- 1 year of HR experience (hotel/hospital/hospitality/manpower operations preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
