We are seeking a proactive and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team at our Changodar plant. The role will primarily focus on talent acquisition (around 70%), along with other HR generalist responsibilities such as onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in recruiting for technical, plant, and corporate roles within the manufacturing or chemical sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (70%)

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle – from manpower planning to onboarding.
  • Source candidates through portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.), consultants, and campus drives.
  • Handle plant-level recruitments for technical, production, maintenance, EHS, quality, and R&D roles.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand job requirements and finalize JDs.
  • Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and salary negotiations.
  • Maintain recruitment MIS and track position-wise hiring status.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles.

2. HR Operations & Employee Life Cycle (20%)

  • Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and employee records.
  • Manage employee onboarding, induction, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain and update HRIS / attendance / leave management systems.
  • Assist in payroll coordination and ensure accuracy of employee data.

3. Employee Engagement & General Administration (10%)

  • Support in employee engagement activities, training coordination, and welfare programs.
  • Address employee queries and grievances in coordination with HR Head.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and HR compliance norms.
  • Support periodic audits and statutory compliance documentation (PF, ESIC, Factory Act).

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong exposure to plant / blue-collar recruitment and manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and labor laws.
  • Proficient in MS Office, HRMS software, and recruitment portals.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

  • Work Location: On-site – Changodar, Ahmedabad
  • Working Days: 6 days/week (as per factory norms)
  • Salary: Commensurate with experience and industry standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
