We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist (Leave of Absence Administrator) to manage, coordinate, and administer employee leave programs across the EMEA & APAC region. The role will focus on ensuring compliance with local labor laws, maintaining accurate records, and supporting employees and managers throughout the leave process. The ideal candidate will bring 4–5 years of experience in HR operations, leave administration, or employee benefits management within a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leave Administration
  • Administer all leave of absence requests (parental leave, medical leave, personal leave, statutory leave, etc.) in accordance with local laws and company policies for over 40 countries.
  • Ensure timely processing of leave requests and accurate documentation in HRIS systems.
  • Coordinate with payroll, benefits, and HR teams to ensure accurate employee pay and benefits continuation during leave.
  • Compliance & Policy Management
  • Stay updated on EMEA & APAC labor laws and statutory requirements regarding employee leave.
  • Ensure company compliance with country-specific leave regulations.
  • Partner with HR and Legal teams to update leave policies and procedures as required.
  • Employee Support & Guidance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave requests, eligibility, entitlements, and return-to-work procedures.
  • Provide clear communication and guidance on policies, processes, and documentation requirements.
  • HR Systems & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and confidential leave records in HRIS.
  • Generate and analyze leave reports to identify trends, usage, and compliance risks.
  • Support audits and provide data as needed.
  • Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits, and regional HR teams to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to streamlining LOA operations.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: 4–6 years of experience in HR operations, benefits administration, or leave management in a multinational/EMEA context.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge in Excel and strong understanding of regional labor laws, statutory leave requirements, and HR compliance practices across EMEA.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP) and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to explain complex policies clearly.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused approach with empathy and professionalism.
