Summary:
The TR Generalist is responsible for the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The TR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, benefits, employment processing, affirmative action, employee leaves, records management, and policy and procedural development and communication. The Team Resources Generalist promotes practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentially with sensitive and protected information.
Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The TR Generalist is responsible for all or part of these areas:

recruiting and staffing, including advising senior management regarding hiring and termination decisions
-
provides input on workforce plans including recruiting and staffing strategies to optimize business unit talent acquisition and retention
-
supports employee performance evaluation process, performance improvement plans and career development process
-
abides by and stays informed of applicable human resource federal and state requirements in day-to-day work, including conducting investigations, and maintaining records
-
employee orientation and performance development
-
assists with the implementation of employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
-
assists managers and employees as needed to understand changes
-
coordination of benefits administration and enrollment
-
employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
-
counsels managers in coaching and disciplining employees
-
assists managers with employee relation issues and activities
-
coordinates employee leaves
-
updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
-
conducts disciplinary meetings/exit interviews
-
pursues a course of personal, professional development.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent education/work experience

Proficient with MS Office Suite

Knowledgeable in employment laws and regulations

Excellent verbal & written communication and ability to resolve conflict
-
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
-
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, ethics and integrity
-
3 years’ experience in a similar position
-
Responsible for personal ongoing development
Preferred
-
5+ years’ experience in Human Resources

HR Certification

Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:

Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.

Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day.

Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.

Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.
Pay Ranges:
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including skills, experience, work location and more. We offer competitive pay while still allowing for compensation growth within the position and company.
