Position Title: HR Generalist
Location: Qatar

Reports To: Group HR Manager / General Manager
Salary: QAR 4,500 per month
Job Summary
A reputable Group of Companies in Qatar is seeking a competent and experienced HR Generalist with strong knowledge of Qatar Labor Law and hands-on experience in recruitment and HR operations within the local market. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in sourcing, hiring, and onboarding both office-based and ground-level staff, and be familiar with all major recruitment platforms and HR administrative processes in Qatar.
The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment, employee relations, HR documentation, compliance, and coordination with government authorities when required.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for office staff, technical staff, and ground-level workforce.
- Develop job descriptions and post vacancies on relevant recruitment platforms in Qatar.
- Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, local job portals, and recruitment agencies for candidate sourcing.
- Screen CVs, conduct interviews, and coordinate final selection with department heads.
- Handle offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation.
- Maintain a structured recruitment database and talent pipeline.
Qatar Labor Law & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Qatar Labor Law and company policies.
- Provide guidance to management on labor law matters and employee rights.
- Assist in handling disciplinary actions, warnings, and terminations in line with legal requirements.
- Coordinate with PRO or relevant authorities regarding employment documentation when required.
HR Administration
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Prepare employment contracts in accordance with Qatar regulations.
- Manage probation evaluations, confirmations, and employee status updates.
- Monitor attendance, leave records, and employee files.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and internal controls.
Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and HR-related matters.
- Support performance management processes.
- Assist in handling grievances and conflict resolution professionally.
Payroll & Compensation Coordination
- Coordinate with accounts for payroll preparation and salary processing.
- Ensure compliance with employment terms, leave policies, and benefits.
- Maintain accurate salary records and documentation.
Group HR Support
- Provide HR support across multiple companies within the group.
- Ensure standardization of HR policies and procedures across all entities.
- Support management in workforce planning and manpower budgeting.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience in Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Labor Law and local HR compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in recruiting both white-collar (office staff) and blue-collar (ground-level workers).
- Experience working within a group of companies is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with recruitment platforms and HR software systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong documentation and administrative skills.

Salary & Benefits
