THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team and help us provide outstanding service to our internal customers — our team members!
We are seeking someone with well-rounded HR experience, with particular strength and interest in benefits administration, leave management, and payroll-related processes. While this is a generalist role supporting a variety of HR functions, our ideal candidate is someone who excels in these areas and enjoys owning the accuracy, compliance, and day-to-day support that comes with them.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our HR & Team Member Engagement Department and support team members across all ER2 locations (AZ, CA, FL, IA, TN, and TX — ~170 team members and growing).
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with additional hours as business needs require.
Reports to: Chief People Officer
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 annually (DOE)

THE DAY TO DAY
Compensation, Benefits, Leave & Payroll
- Administer team member benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, etc.)
- Manage and support leave of absence processes (FMLA, ADA, and applicable state leaves)
- Serve as a go-to resource for team member questions related to benefits, leave, and pay
- Support payroll-related processes, including time-off tracking, reimbursements, and coordination with payroll
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all areas
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Team Member Relations
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to team members and leaders
- Assist in addressing workplace concerns and help facilitate resolution when needed
- Support documentation and follow-up related to team member matters
- Help maintain a positive, respectful, and communicative work environment
Compliance & HR Operations
- Ensure company policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local laws
- Maintain and update HR documentation, including policies, handbooks, and team member records
- Support audits and ensure proper recordkeeping
Offboarding
- Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews and required documentation
Performance Management
- Support performance review processes and timelines
- Assist leaders with setting expectations and documenting performance concerns
- Help coordinate performance improvement efforts and development planning
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
- Support onboarding processes and new hire experience
Training & Development
- Support onboarding and training coordination
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, training, and team member experience
Additional Support
- Assist with HR reporting and metrics
- Support engagement initiatives and internal communications
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and department efficiency
THE VITALS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience required
- Experience with benefits administration, leave management, and payroll processes strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements
- Experience with HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- The ability to speak/read English fluently
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid Drivers License
- The ability to pass a drug test
- The ability to pass a background screening
