Position Overview
Enterprise Tool & Die is seeking a versatile and experienced HR Generalist/Purchasing Agent to do the daily tasks of both human resources and purchasing within our manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across both people-focused and business-focused responsibilities. Confidentiality, organization, strong communicator, positive attitude and attention to detail are critical to success in this role. Must be driven and be a strong support system to the management team.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Manage full-cycle HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Maintain and enforce company policies, procedures, and employee handbook
- Serve as a trusted point of contact between employees and leadership
- Handle benefits, changes, and employee questions
Purchasing
- Manage day-to-day purchasing activities to support the tool build and plant operations
- Source materials, supplies, and services both locally and offshore while evaluating cost, quality, and delivery timelines working closely with project management
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Track purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency
Additional Responsibilities
- Organize and monthly Enterprise University shop meetings
- Follow our ISO processes and assist in the ISO process when needed
- Support internal processes with a positive approach
- Additional tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5-10 years' experience, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10 years of experience in HR, purchasing, or a combination of both in manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and compliance requirements
- Experience with purchasing, vendor management, and procurement processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); JobBOSS experience a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Must have a strong ability to collaborate effectively with a team- oriented environment and actively contribute to its success
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
