Role Summary
Sang is a cultural institute dedicated to the performing arts, film, visual arts, archives, and creative education. We are seeking an HR Hiring Manager with expertise in the creative and arts sector to lead recruitment and talent acquisition across our multidisciplinary programmes. This role will be responsible for sourcing, assessing, and onboarding top-tier creative, technical, and administrative talent to support Sang’s vision of building a world-class cultural hub in Karachi.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to the arts, culture, and creative industries.
- Proactively source candidates across theatre, film, visual arts, archives, education, and creative technology.
- Build relationships with universities, art schools, creative networks, and industry professionals.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, from job postings to contract issuance.
- Design role descriptions and competency frameworks in consultation with department heads.
- Ensure a transparent, inclusive, and equitable recruitment process aligned with Sang’s values.

- Position Sang as an employer of choice within the creative and cultural sectors.
- Represent Sang at career fairs, industry events, and academic institutions.
- Maintain talent pipelines for freelance, project-based, and full-time roles.
- Maintain and update HR policies, recruitment guidelines, and candidate databases.
- Develop onboarding programmes tailored to the unique needs of creative professionals.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, diversity and inclusion practices, and organisational policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–7 years of HR and recruitment experience, preferably within the arts, media, or creative industries.
- Strong networks within the cultural, performing arts, and creative education sectors.
- Proven ability to identify, attract, and engage top creative and technical talent.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Familiarity with HR software, applicant tracking systems, and digital recruitment platforms.
