Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the intersection of Human Resources and the Healthcare IT/Billing industry. You will assist with the full employee lifecycle, with a heavy focus on recruitment and administrative support for our specialized billing and credentialing departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings for specialized roles (e.g., Medical Billers, Credentialing Specialists), screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Onboarding: Help coordinate new hire orientations, prepare digital welcome packets, and ensure all employment documentation is collected and filed.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update internal HR databases (HRIS) with employee records, contact details, and performance documents.
  • Employee Engagement: Support the planning of virtual or in-office team-building events and wellness initiatives to foster a positive company culture.
  • Compliance & Records: Assist in auditing personnel files to ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and labor laws.
  • Special Projects: Work directly with the HR Manager on ad-hoc projects, such as updating the employee handbook or researching local labor market trends.

Requirements & Skills

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential for candidate outreach and internal memos).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or ATS software is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: High level of empathy, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
  • Interest: A genuine interest in healthcare administration and the business of medicine.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
