We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our event production company. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring smooth operations to support our fast-paced and creative environment. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR strategy while aligning with the company’s culture and growth vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent in event production, operations, design, and management.
- Manage end-to-end hiring process including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for seasonal and project-based staffing needs.
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Foster a positive, creative, and collaborative workplace culture.
- Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Address employee concerns with empathy, fairness, and discretion.
- Performance Management
- Develop and implement performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers in goal-setting, feedback, and coaching for team members.
- Monitor productivity, training needs, and professional development.
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain HR policies in alignment with labor laws and industry standards.
- Manage attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
- Training & Development
- Identify training needs for creative, technical, and operations teams.
- Organize skill-building workshops, leadership programs, and safety trainings.
- Encourage continuous learning and growth opportunities.
- Strategic HR Planning
- Work closely with leadership to forecast HR needs in line with upcoming events and business expansion.
- Implement HR systems and processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Contribute to policy development, budgeting, and workforce planning.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of HR management experience, preferably in events, media, hospitality, or creative industries.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in HR software, MS Office, and digital HR tools.
